Turn-around Assist
Snap Tap
Quick Turn Feature (Snap Tap): Generally used in shooting games requiring quick stops. Without Snap Tap, when you hold "A" to move left and want to stop immediately, you have a few options:
- Release "A."
- Hold "A" and "D" simultaneously to counteract the movement.
- Release "A" and quickly tap "D" to stop faster.
The first method is the slowest due to character inertia. The second method results in a general deceleration as the game receives a counteracting signal. The third method allows for a quicker stop but can be difficult to control due to the delay between releasing "A" and pressing "D."
- With Snap Tap enabled, when you hold "A" to move left, you only need to press "D" again, which forces a right movement, eliminating human error in controlling the stop.

- The Turn-Around assist feature activates when the controller signal reaches its maximum, immediately switching to a mouse signal, and deactivating it when below that threshold, allowing for quick turning actions. This requires inputting the current DPI of your mouse and adjusting the output mouse signal DPI via the app to ensure smooth transitions between the joystick and mouse signals, preventing lag or sudden acceleration.
- When using Turn-Around assist, it’s best to keep inventory and map screens in keyboard/mouse mode via [flex mapping]; otherwise, it may cause sudden acceleration or stuttering. If the inventory page must be in controller mode, adjust the Turn-Around assist lever in the app while in the training ground with the inventory open, ensuring natural transitions when closing the inventory.
When using a controller for gaming, many games set an inactive zone for the inner circle of the controller, referred to as the "internal dead zone." Movements within this dead zone are not recognized by the game. This function mainly prevents controller drift and jitter.
- When gaming with a mouse and keyboard, dead zones can impact micro-movements, leading to imprecise aiming and difficulty in dragging. Thus, we need to use dead zone compensation to bypass the game's dead zone.
- Due to variations in controllers and games, dead zone shapes are not always circular, making targeted compensation particularly important. If a game allows for the dead zone to be turned off (sometimes called a dead angle), you can choose not to use dead zone compensation.
